Hollywood FLOSS - Mr. Big Stuff

John Dew
Xperiment Vol. 2

Do short people really have it tough? As an American male of very average stature (5’11” on my license, 6’0” when I’m rounding up), I have absolutely no idea. For a more informed take on the matter, we turn to Hollywood FLOSS, whose first Booth feature goes out to “all the homies 5’10” and under.” On newly-leaked mixtape cut Mr. Big Stuff, the Houston up-and-comer (no, he’s not from Hollywood, despite what the stage name may suggest) acknowledges that below-average height has its downsides (not being able to ride roller coasters, having to sit on a high chair at the barbershop…) but concludes that, all in all, life as a shorty (so to speak) isn’t as difficult as it’s made out to be. Vertically-challenged individuals tired of being underestimated by their towering peers are sure to relate to this track; the rest of us can simply nod our elevated craniums along with John Dew‘s upbeat, funky instrumental, featuring a fresh, electro-flavored beat switch on the back end. Listeners of all shapes and sizes can find more from Hollywood FLOSS on the rising star’s Xperiment Pt. 2 mixtape, set to hit the ‘net May 3.
