Homeboy Sandman enters The DJBooth for the second time in two weeks with Watchu Want From Me, the first single off his Stones Throw debut album, First Of A Living Breed. Hailing from the streets of Queens, Sandman knows how to harvest an infectious melody, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that DMV producer Oddisee provides him with yet more instrumental heat. No stranger when it comes to keeping it real, on the mic Sandman is a rare breed, pulling pages from his heavyweight boxing father’s book while delivering verbal punches very few artists are capable of. Leading up to the release of First Of A Living Breed on September 18, Homeboy Sandman will be touring with the legendary Brother Ali throughout September and October.
