Although So So Def/Island Urban Music continues to expand its roster, which includes new additions such as 9th Ward, Git Fresh and Young Envy, the label’s very first signee, Hot Dollar, has yet to be given a release date for his debut, My Dreams…A Day in the Life.  Undaunted by label politics, the West Coast representative has taken refuge in the one place he loves the most, the streets.  On I Luv Tha Streetz, Dollar walks the listener through the many aspects of street life, from females and inmate shout-outs to heavy tattoos.  Complementing the track nicely is producer Scoop Deville, whose laid-back beat is perfect for a relaxing cruise down the streets of any neighborhood.  My Dreams…A Day In the Life is currently set to drop late this summer.
