DJ Q-Suffix Presents Huey: Thug Vocabulary

St. Louis-bred rapper Huey is back for a second go-around.  After his success in the clubs with Pop Lock and Drop It, the emcee abandons the instructional dance genre and flexes his lyrical muscle.  On Money Tall, producer Tha Nod Factor offers a bass and synth-heavy beat as Huey gets aggressive, arrogant and accountant-like regarding his money stacks and how he spends them.  In an almost threatening tone, Huey points out that “paint on my whip got kids in the hood callin’ me Candyman/ wait, haters have reason to hate, I understand it man.”  Though the Midwest rapper’s swagger is unlike that of his country counterparts, Huey offers advice to all his baller-wannabes, showing them the difference between big and small money.
