Album:
Monopoly (tentative title)

Last summer, you couldn’t turn on the radio or walk into a club without hearing Huey‘s club smash, Pop, Lock and Drop It.  Though the St. Louis native has since received critical acclaim for the follow-up singles, When I Hustle and Nobody Loves The Hood, neither came close to Pop‘s hit power, which led to the abysmal sales of Huey’s debut, Notebook Paper.  Unwilling to simply call it quits, Huey has headed back into the studio for another go-round, tentatively titled MonopolyWay Down Thurr, a buzz single of the forthcoming release with production by DJ Stikuhbush, finds the Hitz Committee member bragging about the view from his high-rimmed, trunk-stocked ride.  Expect more raps about the board game’s features (as in cars, assets and money; not thimbles and irons), when Monopoly drops later this year.
