J.R. Rotem
Album:
Untitled (TBD)

Thought you’d finally managed to get the unbelievably catchy chorus of I.Y.A.Z.’ smash-hit debut single out of your head? Well, I’ve got some bad news: now that the official remix has dropped, you can expect to hear that melody on Replay for a few more months… or years. You know it’s gonna happen, so why even try to fight it? This time around the cut is even more infectious, thanks in large part to the guest services of a certain club-hop heavyweight. That’s right – Flo Rida steps up to the mic to spit a characteristically ear-catching opening verse over J.R. Rotem‘s sugary synths, offering to play a sexy shorty’s body like a piano. I know I’m going to be humming that “Na na na, na na na” chorus for weeks to come, but I’ll let readers have the final say on how this remix stacks up against the original. I.Y.A.Z.’ yet-untitled debut studio album is set to hit stores and online retailers sometime in the first quarter of 2010. In the meantime, fans should be sure to check out the Virgin Islands-bred singer’s recent, Booth-exclusive interview with our own DJ Z.
