I.B.E ft. Alicia Steele - 6 a.m.

Producer:
BenZilla
Album:
That Tape

Since you’ve heard Intelligent Black Enterprise a little over a week ago, you’ve had time to let the music stew as well as pick up a copy of That Tape to confidently form an opinion on the Minneapolis emcee. Right? It’s okay, we understand that most of you have to go to work/school/hipster parties/etc., so we’re dropping another release from the mix for your consideration. 6 a.m. is a standout track that features the talents of Alicia Steele with vocals that soften the edges of such a hard-hitting delivery from I.B.E himself. BenZilla is the man behind the boardwork, lacing a string accompaniment with hard hitting percussion to top it all off. If you liked this morning medley of good music, go ahead and pick up The Tape and keep a lookout for This(I) That(B) & The Third(E), his first solo album produced entirely by BenZilla (dropping this Fall). As always, keep it locked to the Booth for more.
