Ibn Inglor - Heads Down

Producer:
Clams Casino

December 27, Ibn Inglor will be releasing new studio album GawdsSpeed, featuring reader-approved singles Le’Land and XXX, for free via The DJBooth. Before that however, the Windy City rhymesayer is bringing his newer fans up to speed on his oeuvre via a mixtape compilation of old, new, and previously-unreleased material. As a foretaste of what you can expect on the project, we’re proud to bring you the world premiere of Heads Down, a freestyle over Mac Miller‘s One Last Thing. While Clams Casino‘s hazy sample work has slightly more upbeat feel than the brooding production that backed Inglor on his previously-featured joints, the emcee sounds right at home as he laces the beat with breathless, yet confident lyrical snapshots of his hustle. For Heads Down and much more, check out Ibn’s TheComp Tape when it drops digitally on Tuesday, the 20th.
