Maintaining his status as one of hip-hop’s most political figures, legendary rapper/actor Ice Cube made his voice heard at the end of ’07 with the raw and uncut, Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It.  Two months later, with no shortage of controversy abound, two more of rap’s political MCs have joined Cube on a remix.  Houston OG Scarface takes a sarcastic approach by “confessing” that he ‘set back his race, while Nas takes the opportunity to comment on the album title controversy of his forthcoming release.  The wrongly accused often confess to end their interrogation; hopefully Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It (and its remix) will lead to America blaming something other than hip-hop for its problems.
