Illregular Instrumentals ft. iMC - Okra

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
J. Bizness
Album:
None (Promo Single)

I personally like my okra fried and usually minus the okra part, but DJBooth newcomers iMC prefer their Okra green, rectangular, and with a variety of dead presidents on the front side. Yes, its official, we can now add the word Okra to an ever-growing list of nicknames for money. Consisting of Richard Wright, Belvi, and Skeem Price, iMC is a three man group that is based in Southern California and signed to indie label Illregular Instruments. On their DJBooth debut, a world premiere, the trio express their undying love for the green, highlighted by the song’s hook which informs listeners, “I want that money, I’m hungry, I mean I’m trying to get that okra, that okra, that green.” Production from labelmate J. Bizness keeps the record fluid as each emcee drops their verse on the never-ending paper chase. Okra serves as merely a promo single from the trio, but it’s a safe bet that they’ve likely got something much bigger in the works.
