Featuring:
Producer:
Sean Divine
Album:
BornStars

While most rappers have rapper friends, seeing one of your homies make it big while you put in just as much work can be tough. Although you want to be happy for your dude, you start questioning when is it going to be my turn and when am I going to shine?  With the first release off of J. Capri‘s upcoming project BornStars, Capri and Maffew Ragazino hit the studio together to create On Mine, an underdog anthem that could help inspire any upcoming rapper who feels overlooked. Produced by The Proven Theory‘s Sean Divine, the beat that showcases heavy synthesizer chords accompanied with an even heavier bass and snare.  It is definitely a beat that is supposed to wake you up both physically and motivationally.  Capri starts off the track and expresses his anger toward the industry while also confessing that he will never give up while the guest verse by Ragazino is a standout that displays a very diverse flow and unique voice. So don’t worry about others, get yours! And get BornStars when it drops in the near future…
