While it may be a Cole World, Carolina emcee J. Cole has remained relatively low key this summer when it comes to new music. Though not one to disappoint his hefty fan base Cole returned to the spotlight this week with the release of his enthralling The Cure freestyle. On The Cure, the DJBooth favorite tackles Kanye West’s production on Watch The Throne‘s Lift Off as he eagerly raps his way through about four minutes worth of puns and punchlines. Cole goes extra hard at the haters as he raps, “What you made last week I just tipped the f**kin’ waiter…Ni**a f**k yo Twitter, b**ches follow me in real life.”  While The Cure isn’t attached to any particular project from Cole, the emcee is hard at work on his sophomore album as well as a joint album with fellow emcee Kendrick Lamar.
