J NICS - All Week/The Clean Up Man

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
The Pyrvmids
Album:
BlackAmericanDream

Last we heard from J NICS, it was October and the Panhandle State rhymesayer had linked up with DJ Burn One and Freddie Gibbs to craft hard-nosed mixtape inclusion Scale. Today,  the longtime Booth favorite returns to kick off another year of dope tunes with All Week/The Clean Up Man, a joint effort with Miami beatsmith The Pyrvmids. As the title suggests, this cut divides into two distinct movements. On the front, trap hi-hats and swirling vocal samples accompany the artist as he narrates his nonstop hustle in laid-back verses. The Chipmunked vocals drop out of the mix for the more minimal closing section, which sees NICS trying his hand at some low-key crooning. All Week/The Clean Up Man is the official lead single off Pyrvmids’s BlackAmericanDream LP, set to hit online retailers March 1. Keep it locked for further details on NICS’ forthcoming compilation with Mark Muturah (Denzel Curry‘s manager), as well as debut studio album ZULU, which is slated for a summer release.
