J. Pinder - Grey

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
DJ Khalil

Seattle rhymesayer J. Pinder has seen and experienced some awful sh*t in his day—enough to leave him, at 23, with a few Grey hairs. In spite of it all, his faith in his abilities and his will to succeed remain ironclad. DJ Khalil mans the boards on this pensive promo single, crafting a driving, sampled beat to accompany the Fin Records signee’s emotionally complex verses. Hip-hop veteran DJ Jazzy Jeff lends a hand behind the wheels of steel, tying the record together with an old-school, sampled hook. Grey isn’t part of a larger set, but those left craving more are encouraged to check out J. Pinder’s last feature, the Booth-approved Loaded Gun.
