J.Nolan - For You

Album:

J.Nolan’s latest effort—his second Booth feature—is entitled For You. Naturally, I assumed he made it for all of his many fans, “You” meaning the general public. I was wrong; in fact, I couldn’t have been more wrong. For You is dedicated to one special lady in Nolan’s life. Setting the stage is a smooth, jazzy beat from producer zuCYDE, incorporating a chopped sample of Lalah Hathaway’s I’m Coming Back. Atop the beat, the emcee showcases his charismatic delivery as he drops verses chock full of clever wordplay and compliments certain to make his girl blush. For You will be found on the Connecticut native’s forthcoming Distinction LP, scheduled for digital release on July 1.

Update: J.Nolan’s Albino Alien-directed For You visuals have been added.
