Jadakiss - Can’t Stop Me

Neyo the Matrix
The Last Kiss

Despite guest appearances by, respectively, Ne-Yo and Jay-Z, neither By My Side nor Who Run This brought Jadakiss universal acclaim among Booth regulars.  The third time may, however, be the charm for the Roc-A-Fella recording artist – on a strong contender for single selection, he lets all those who would get in his way know, “You Can’t Stop Me.”  Though Jada’s left to carry the track on his own this time, he doesn’t skip a beat, displaying unflappable confidence from the opening lines, “Mm-hm, yes, I does that: stays hot/ I ain’t gotta get my buzz back.”  Over Neyo the Matrix‘s horn-backed beat, the emcee reminisces about his early days and assures listeners that he is most definitely at his peak.  This victorious attitude bodes well for the D-Block vet’s third studio album, The Last Kiss (apparently, “Kiss My Ass” wasn’t testing well with retailers), which, after three delays, has been scheduled for release in March of this year.
