Jared Evan - October 10th

While the date October 10th might not offer much significance to most, it unfortunately marks quite a tragic day for New York musician and DJBooth favorite Jared Evan, who lost his best friend Frank Bruno to a car accident. Evan strives to keep the the memory flame of his friend lit on October 10th and its accompanying music video, which was directed by our friends at Karmpaloop Media. Set to a series of striking visuals the video manages to imitate the reflective tone of the record, which was produced by project collaborators !llmind and Illfactor. While the singer is most well-known for his upbeat vocals, his voice takes on a more melancholy vibe on October 10th, which seems fitting given the songs heavy content. October 10th is featured on Evan’s The Fourth Chapter EP, which is available for download on both DJBooth and iTunes.
