Jared Evan - Sloane

Fresh off the release of his Pieces EP, Brooklyn singer/songwriter, emcee and producer Jared Evan returns to our pages with a new single off the project. Given the artist’s tendency to fall for women who are, quite simply, Bad News, fans may be surprised to find him involved in a healthy relationship on the newly-released Sloane. Even he seems to be a little incredulous, judging by the record’s hook, which sees him joyfully proclaiming: “We don’t have to die alone!” Frequent behind-the-boards collaborator !llmind provides the joint’s exuberant pop production, and Rik Cordero directs the surprisingly action-packed official visuals. Like what you’re hearing? Then what are your waiting for—click here to stream Evan’s latest opus for free right here in The DJBooth.
