The Dillinger Escape Plan, cuts by DJ Hoppa
CONS EP, Vol. 2

As fans already know, Jarren Benton‘s appetite for lyrical destruction is matched by precious few in the music game. So it stands to reason that, if you were to combine his rhymes with a pummeling heavy-metal backdrop, the results would be downright explosive. Rage, the latest single off Converse‘s next compilation EP, confirms that hypothesis and then some. Here, the dissonant, crunching guitar riffs and shifting time signatures of Dillinger Escape Plan accompany the Funk Volume signee as he unloads his emotional baggage in frenetic verses. DJ Hoppa assists behind the wheels of steel. Like what you’re hearing? The CONS EP Vol. 2 has yet to receive a drop date, but you can look forward to more fresh singles in the coming weeks.
