Follow Me Home

Jay Rock, the street soldier recently seen doing guest duty on fellow Left Coaster Nipsey Hussle‘s Army All By Myself, is back in the Booth with a remixed version of All My Life.  Though Jay’s opening verse, as well as the production by Cool & Dre are retained from the original, Weezy‘s guest verse and will.i.am‘s vocals on the chorus are scrapped to make way for a new hook and guest contributions from The Game, Gorilla Zoe, and Busta Rhymes.  Reminiscing about their childhood struggles and the hustles that helped them climb from their ghetto origins all the way to the top, the Watts native and his collaborators create a nostalgic record that will appeal to anyone currently grinding his or her way through tough times.  Follow Me Home, Jay Rock’s debut studio album, will bring listeners plenty more true-to-life tales of street survival when it hits record shops and online retailers in the third quarter of this year.
