Jesse Boykins III - Live In Me

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Machinedrum
Album:
Love Apparatus

Fresh off lending his vocals to beatsmith Daithi‘s Have to Go, featured Monday in the Booth, alt-R&B buzzmaker Jesse Boykins III returns to our pages with a fresh single of his own. Follow-up to the starstruck Show Me Who You Are, this funky promo cut finds the singer addressing prophetic words to a woman he has yet to meet: “You’ve been searching for me and one day you will find me. / And you shall Live in Me.” Machinedrum provides a lush, spacey synth backdrop for the artist’s oracular game-spitting, adding texture to his beat via live strings and brass. For more, check out Boykins’s Love Apparatus LP when it hits record stores and online retailers April 22, via NomaDic Music.
