Jibbs - Main Ingredient

After the relative success of Chain Hang Low and King Kong, rapper Jibbs disappeared from the music scene.  Similar to ‘Lou rappers J-Kwon and Huey, Jibbs was written off as a one

two-hit wonder (just ask our very own Nathan S.).  Now looking to set the record straight, the self-proclaimed “Teen King” has returned with a sneak peek of his upcoming (untitled) sophomore album.  Revealing the Main Ingredient in his music, Jibbs reflects on what it was like as an underground artist (hard work = get your shine on).  Although Jibbs maintains a vulgarity-free approach (also see Chamillionaire), the 17-year old shows an obvious growth on the mic that is sure to silence some of his previous haters.  In other words, don’t write him off just yet.
