The 162nd entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of John Public, the Jersey City native who earned reader acclaim for mixtape tracks Sneaker Music and Freedom People. On his brand new, exclusive Raps, Meet Guitar freestyle, the currently-unsigned emcee flows over the instrumental from Jimi HendrixBorn Under a Bad Sign. John Public is currently preparing for the June release of his latest full-length, ReGifted: Thrift Shop Experience, and will soon be debuting videos for Freedom People and Mos Definitely. In addition, he is organizing upcoming benefit shows in Jersey City, Hoboken and NYC.
