Jordin Sparks & Whitney Houston - Celebrate

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
R. Kelly
Album:
Sparkle Movie Soundtrack

Before her untimely death this past February, R&B icon Whitney Houston came together with RCA pop songstress Jordin Sparks to craft a record for inclusion in upcoming film Sparkle. Today, we finally get to hear the fruits of their collaboration—the lead single off the film’s soundtrack LP, and the final cut recorded by Houston. On Celebrate, R. Kelly does his thing behind the boards, serving up a lightly funky, disco-informed backdrop for the collaborators’ bubbly vocal interplay. Have you fallen in love with this exhilarating jam? The Sparkle soundtrack is scheduled for release June 5, via iTunes; the film (featuring both Houston and Sparks in acting roles) is set to hit theaters August 17.
