Julius Francis ft. Teddy Riley - Let Me

Posted 6 years ago
Producer:
Teddy Riley
Album:
None

On his last feature, Julius Francis was all Business. Newly-released promo single Let Me, however, finds the rising R&B star and frequent K. Sparks collaborator in hot pursuit of pleasure. Which, considering his business is pleasure, amounts to pretty much the same thing – but, hey, it made convenient intro material. Here, veteran singer/songwriter/producer Teddy Riley (who wrote the record’s hook) acts as Francis’ wingman, laying down a atmospherically steamy, synth-drenched slow-jam groove as the headliner does his level best to persuade a hesitant shawty to loosen up so he can love her like she’s never been loved before, peppering his game-spitting with promises of expensive jewelry and vows of commitment. Topped off with some soaring vocal runs, this cut is unlikely to disappoint listeners who have followed Francis’ Booth career to date. Let Me isn’t slated to appear on any forthcoming project, but fans can, of course, keep it locked to you-know-where for all the latest tunes.
