Julius Francis ft. Shane Eli - One Day [Premiere]

Featuring:
Producer:
Corian Jackson
Album:
Musically Infected

DJBooth is all about bringing people together. Think of us as the Olive Garden, only with less stale breadsticks and more fresh tunes. And better service. Uh, on second thought, I’m not sure that analogy works at all. But the point is, there’s nothing better than watching a collaborative relationship blossom between two house favorites – like, say Julius Francis and Shane Eli, who join forces on the latest leak off the former’s forthcoming LP. Making its world premiere right here in the Booth, One Day finds the NYC singer and L.A. emcee/producer busting out their smoothest sung vocals and flows in hopes of getting the chance to spend some quality time with a special lady. Corian Jackson handles production duties, serving up a percussion-heavy yet melodically mellow R&B groove that seems to suit both collaborators equally well, and the result is, to my ears, hard to resist. If you’re digging this laid-back track, you have plenty to look forward to: though Francis’ Musically Infected has yet to receive a solid drop date, Eli’s DJBooth-presented The Push will be hitting our front page on Wednesday, June 16.
