June Summers - Breaking Up

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Treezy & Kory Smith
Album:
Summer Nights EP

Tomorrow, June Summers will mark the (astronomical) change of the seasons with the release of a new EP. To tide fans over in the meantime, the unsigned crooner has liberated another fresh single off his last project. Contrary to what its title suggests, Breaking Up describes a relationship on the rocks, rather than one that’s already finito. Over a gentle Treezy and Kory Smith beat accented with occasional orchestral hits, the singer struggles to smooth things over with his boo following the latest of many blowouts. Trei Jackson‘s official video, making its world premiere in the Booth, rounds out the package. You can cop this joint as part of the artist’s Summer Nights EP, released early this month and available for free streaming/download in the Booth. Watch for the follow-up, Summer Solstice, to hit our front page tomorrow, June 21.
