Justin Timberlake ft. J. Cole, A$AP Rocky & Pusha T - TKO (Black Friday Remix)

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Timbaland

Having knocked listeners off their feet with TKO, the second single off his latest LP, Justin Timberlake returns with an official remix that packs an even stronger punch. As well it should, given that it features three of the biggest names in the rap game. Timbaland rebuilds his beat from the ground up, switching the original‘s melodic fanfare for a more minimal, whip-ready groove. His overhauled instrumental sets the stage for bravura performances from J. Cole, Pusha T and A$AP Rocky. The first-named rhymesayer makes a particularly strong impression, using his platform to return fire at Kendrick Lamar‘s #Control verse. How about it, readers: has J.T. outdone himself with this action-packed remix? Though this version isn’t attached to a larger set, you can find its prototype on The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2), out now in stores and online.
