J.Y. ft. Cito On The Beat - Rotation

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Hank Iving
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Fresh off releasing his long-awaited, DJBooth-hosted Falling Up LP, J.Y. is back to celebrate his birthday by giving you a little present: namely, brand new promo single Rotation. A syrupy Southern banger filtered through the emcee’s Jersey sensibility, this slow-rolling jam finds J.Y. flexing his flow over the hazy synth ambiance of Hank Iving (who borrows a sample from Slim Thug classic Three Kings for the chorus). Cito on the Beat, the headliner’s collaborative partner from Falling Up inclusion The Switch Up, provides assistance on the guest tip. So, was J.Y.‘s foray into H-Town street music a success? Debate away—and, of course, stay tuned for all the latest from the DJBooth regular.
