Kandid McFly - Strung Out [Premiere]

Posted 6 years ago
Producer:
8 Attack Productions
Album:
The Opening Act

Good news, Kandid McFly fans: having recovered from March’s little bout of Stage Fright, the Ohio up-and-comer’s doing better than ever – in fact, he’s riding so high that he’s beginning to feel a little Strung Out. This newly-leaked track, the first of three Booth-exclusive world premieres off the artist’s forthcoming street album, finds McFly marveling over just how quickly things are moving for him, all because he put a little extra work in while the rest were relaxing; as he puts it over 8 Attack Productions’ head-noddable blend of piano and brass, “While you was at the crib with your friends watchin’ Star Wars, I was fist-fightin’ to get next on the ball court.” The man’s clearly got plenty of obstacles to surmount before he reaches the top (his credit score’s “lower than the hair on a new Chia Pet,” fellow artists are either openly hostile or crazier than Charles Hamilton...) but, with the skills and the work ethic he showcases here, it’s only a matter of time. McFly’s Booth-sponsored The Opening Act, is set to hit our mixtape page – in the meantime, keep it locked for two more exclusive cuts!
