Kay Cola - River (Water)

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Don City
Album:
The Fifth Element EP

Given that Booth newcomer Kay Cola resides in Los Angeles, you might assume that her latest single was inspired by the River of the same name, which runs from the San Fernando Valley through L.A. County before joining the Pacific Ocean in Long Beach. The record’s true subject matter, however, is a bit more intimate. Over Don City‘s aquatic synth production (featuring “running water” sound effects liable to have listeners running for the bathroom), the singer pays tribute to a man who gets her flowing like the aforementioned body of water “every single time [he pulls] it out.” Has this sultry selection left you craving more? Then keep it locked; Kay Cola’s The Fifth Element EP currently lacks a drop date, but we’ll keep you supplied with fresh cuts and further release details as they emerge.
