Kayla Steen x Mvstermind - Seashells

Featuring:
Producer:
Mvstermind

After experiencing the obscenely cold temperatures caused by the polar vortex, residents of the Midwest and East Coast could undoubtedly use a balmy day at the beach. While that’s not going to be possible for another few months (unless you have the time and money for a spur-of-the-moment trip to Cali or Florida), we can offer you the next best thing: Seashells, the debut DJBooth feature from singer/songwriter Kayla Steen. Mvstermind, the St. Louis-based rapper/producer who brought us Nimbus Bomb, co-headlines this breezy, bittersweet jam; his quavering keyboard chords and surf-tinged rhythm section accompany the ATL pop buzzmaker as she wistfully revisits a past love. A loosie dating back to 2012, this promo single hasn’t found its way onto a forthcoming project, but those feeling it can watch our pages for fresh material from both Kayla and Mvstermind in the weeks and months ahead.
