KeKe Palmer - Super Jerkin

Toby Gad

Like our own Richard predicted (and the Booth community affirmed) when we featured the New BoyzYou’re A Jerk, ‘jerkin’ has become hip-hop’s next big dance fad.  Like any other trend, the “jerk” movement is dependent on major co-signs.  No need to hide underground, jerks; well-known film and TV actress KeKe Palmer has jumped on the bandwagon, and she’s about to “serve” all y’all with her Super Jerkin skills.  Even frequent heartbreak-pop producer Toby Gad (Big Girls Don’t Cry, If I Were A Boy) joins in, contributing an uptempo beat (co-produced by Palmer) with the potential to inspire a YouTube dance contest.  Even if ‘jerkin’ isn’t your style, you can expect plenty more uptempo and slower jams on KeKe’s currently-untitled sophomore album (and Interscope debut), which does not currently have a release date.
