Ghost Recon Future Soldier Promo Single

Following in the increasingly popular tradition of video game related Hip Hop, Ubisoft® has tapped Compton flame spitter Kendrick Lamar to spice up its newest creation Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. War Is My Love drops just in time to coincide with the game’s May 22 release date. In it, Kendrick releases bomb after bomb, explaining that whatever is needed to claim victory shall be done over the the futuristic synths and military drum cadence of Grammy-nominated producer Sounwave. If you don’t visualize a covert military mission when you hear this one, then you are clearly suffering from a serious lack of imagination. Says Kendrick about the song, “when I started really getting into the game, I thought it actually matched perfectly.” And he’s right! The TDE solider nails it with this one and proves, once again, why he is primed and ready to move up in the ranks as one of the best. Enjoy, keep an eye out for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and keep checking The DJBooth for more.
