Kevin Gates ft. Curren$y - Just Ride

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Grizzly On The Beat
Album:
The Luca Brasi Story

Honestly, I hadn’t heard of Kevin Gates before today, but almost instantly I have become a fan; the man’s got flow for days and a very smooth voice. Earlier this month, Gates partnered with rap (and weed) fan favorite Curren$y for mixtape standout selection Just Ride. The whole mood of the record is perfect for the emcee’s nonchalant flow as Grizzly on the Beat‘s bass indulgent production and heavy drums make a dark backdrop for the Louisiana native’s lyrics to slice through. Plus, you can always count on Spitta to give a solid performance as well (see New Jet City for additional recent proof). Those who are in the mood to explore for more from Gates can make a B line straight to The Luci Brasi Story, the emcee’s brand new mixtape that is available for free download.
