Kevin Sinatra - Haunt the Streets

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Virtuoso The God
Album:
Medulla Oblongata

Halloween is over, but there are still a few ghosts Haunting the Streets of American cities. On the lead single off his next LP, D.C. rhymesayer Kevin Sinatra sheds light on the darker chapters of U.S. history, illuminating the ways in the spirits of the past continue to shape our present and future. Over Virtuoso The God‘s downtempo percussion and reversed Chipmunk vocals, the G.T.F.O.T.W. emcee mixes self-assured commentary on his hustle with historical-revisionist pearls of wisdom: “Our first President was black, Thomas Jefferson ain’t really free his slaves till he was dead, I ain’t worried ‘bout nothin’.” Sinatra’s Medulla Oblongata LP is scheduled for independent release at an as-yet undetermined date in February. In the meantime, of course, you can keep it locked to The DJBooth for the latest news and tunes.
