Kid CuDi - Dose Of Dopeness

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
Dot Da Genius
Album:
Unreleased

Leave it to Kid Cudi to drop a joint from four years ago and still get everyone talking. Dose of Dopeness is a reminder that good ol’ Cudder has been at it for a minute, and will always be relevant to the music world. Earlier today, requent beatsmith collaborator Dot Da Genius dropped this previously unreleased and long-awaited record to give fans a taste of whats to come in eight short days. As one of the more anticipated releases of the year, the collaboration between Dot and Cud for their album WZRD has brought folks to check for the emcee’s quirky rap style and the producer’s experimental sound. Dose of Dopeness isn’t a sign of what WZRD will be, just a look back at the duo’s long-lasting creative friendship (and their willingness to defy expectations). Dopeness actually sounds like a musical brainstorming session between the two as if they planned for a February 28 release date back in ‘08. Well, it’s 2012 yitches, so check for the album next week and stay tuned as the two are reportedly already working on a follow-up EP that is expected to be out later in the year.
