The Kid Daytona - 1st Class Upgrade

I don’t know if it’s the high altitude, stewardesses or in-flight meals, but something about air travel gets Bronx emcee The Kid Daytona going. This past summer he released an album titled Come Fly With Me, which included the aptly named track, Air Born. On his newest single, 1st Class Upgrade, Daytona takes on a different aspect of traveling - the coveted upgrade. Produced by Booth favorite 6th Sense, the track starts with a stewardess telling Daytona he has a new seat and then flows into the energetic beat. Daytona’s flow is smooth as he drops pop culture references over the organ and percussion heavy sound. Although the first two are strong, a third verse could have made the track a fantastic one, instead of just a pretty good one, but the way Daytona maintains his flow while the beat switches up speed should be more than enough to win him some new fans. 1st Class Upgrade isn’t currently part of any official project. Stay tuned to for all the latest.
