Kidz In The Hall ft. Curt@!ns & Smoke DZA - Dream On

Posted 5 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
DJ Double O
Album:
Brain Candy Series

As DJ Z pointed out in his responses to last week’s Kidz in the Hall entry (Star), artists normally use their weekly series to dump material that doesn’t necessarily fit a project, but still worthy enough of releasing to the public. Man, if Dream On is what didn’t fit on a project for the Kidz, I’d like to hear what actually did. On the fifth entry of their Brain Candy series, DJ Double O once again brings in some easily engaging production (hey, if the beats aren’t broke don’t fix them), who crafts a beat that leaves plenty of room to let the artists shine, and with Curt@!ns and Smoke DZA in the mix, shine they do. With a combination of great one-liners on women - “don’t think because you model you can get a little moody” - and the more difficult aspects of fame - “went from crowded in a Taurus, to lonely in a Benz” - Kidz In The Hall throw down a joint on par with the rest of their latest dope music, with no signs of slowing down.
