KnowItAll - Crack & Powder

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
KnowItAll
Album:
Weekend Rapstar EP

This Oakland emcee/producer may be a KnowItAll, but hes no elitist. Both in the way he does business and the content of his music, he’s all about cutting out the middleman and speaking straight to the people. Don’t take it from me, though; take a listen to the lead single off his forthcoming, Kickstarter-funded EP and hear for yourself. A “State of the Union Address to ghetto America,” Crack & Powder finds the artist pulling no punches as he spits about the continuing effects of Reaganomics, racism and the War on Drugs on his country’s urban poor. Complete with Know’s own eerie, subterranean sample work, this joint is likely to leave fans of innovative street music craving more. If that’s the case, you can click here to donate to the project’s Kickstarter, and check out the impressive array of prizes the artist is offering to those who help him achieve his goal.
