Knowledge Medina - Cold Rain (Down on Me)

Knowledge Medina

Not glimpsed on our pages since dropping off the reader-approved I’ll Do back in October of 2012, Knowledge Medina returns to our pages with single numero uno off his next full-length. Making its world premiere right here in the Booth, Cold Rain (Down on Me) finds the South Floridian emcee spitting about the many stressful aspects of his hustle, from the chronic lack of financial stability to the depredations of “unloyal friends.” (And seeing his “f**king exes” with other men, while unrelated to the grind, certainly doesn’t help his mindstate.) Through it all, though, he remains determined to make his mark on the game. On the back, he spits, “F**k the rain, I’ma build my wall and stay afloat.” In addition to rocking the mic, Medina produces the joint’s soulful chopped-sample beat. Feeling it? Then keep it locked for the latest on Knowledge’s next LP, which currently lacks both a title and a drop date.
