Knowledge Medina ft. Soul Theory & Reks - Forever

Featuring:
Producer:
Soul Theory
Album:
The Flow Documentary EP

Thought Chiddy Bang‘s nine-hour freestyle was impressive? Then prepare to be amazed—on his first Booth feature, Knowledge Medina informs us that, if he wanted to, he could “flow for eternity.” You’ll have to take that claim on faith, of course—due to obvious temporal and logical constraints, the Miami repper’s latest promo single doesn’t actually go on Forever—but it’s certainly nice while it lasts. Frequent collaborator Soul Theory keeps it timeless on the production tip (in addition to spitting the second verse), flipping a piano-led soul sample as the headliner drops heartfelt bars about his pursuit of musical immortality: “We got respect but dog I’m leanin’ more towards the legacy, I’m doin’ it so I know they’ll remember me…” Another underground mainstay with a taste for the timeless, Boston repper REKS grabs the mic to lend a hand on the back end, promising fans that he’ll continue carrying the torch for real hip-hop till the end of time. Like what you’re hearing? Forever will be included on forthcoming The Flow Documentary EP, which will be available for free download on July 5.
