Kosha Dillz ft. Wax & Ed. E Ruger - Nationally Rollin’

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Jon Jackson
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Though prohibitive gas prices have limited the roadtrip’s popularity of late, the fact remains: there’s nothing like hitting the interstate with a few close homies. On new promo single Nationally Rollin’, Kosha Dillz does just that, hopping in his ride with Venice Beach-residing Booth fave Wax and Carolina newcomer Ed. E Ruger for a journey across the U.S.A., with stops in each major city. Jon Jackson fuses funk, jazz and Latin influences on the production tip, offering each rhymesayer plenty of room to flow before chopping it up on the verse’s breakneck, triple-time climax. This joint isn’t attached to any forthcoming project, but those digging it should be sure to tune in and catch Dillz’ performance in Part 2 of The Warm Up Cypher (with RZA on the turntables) at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards. Additionally, tune in this Monday for the latest entry in Wax’s ongoing, DJBooth/Earmilk-presented Unplugged series.
