Kreesha Turner - MJ

Posted about 2 years ago
Producer:
Young Yonny
Album:
Evolution Inevitable

Let’s be real: if you’re making urban music today, you owe a huge debt to MJ. Kreesha Turner‘s well aware of that fact, which is why she’s dedicated her latest single to the King of Pop. While this joint’s sound isn’t necessarily reminiscent of the musical legend—beatsmith Young Yonny flips a Bollywood sample and Turner’s vocal delivery is dancehall-informed—her verses come liberally laced with references to his many classics. The artist-directed visuals even feature Keesha rocking some of Michael’s signature accessories. Evolution Inevitable is scheduled to drop later this year via Universal Canada.
