Let Em Live

Devoted fans of Strong Arm Steady Gang emcee Krondon (previously heard flying solo on Eyes on Me) may have already downloaded their copies of the West Coast flame-spitter’s latest mixtape. Those who choose to cop the forthcoming album version on iTunes, however, will get a little something extra in the bargain – namely, bonus cut Incline. Making its world premiere right here in the Booth, this slow-rolling track finds Krondon spitting over the handclap percussion and queasy synths of beatsmith Khrysis, trashing the insufficiently-real and waxing poetic about his own mic skills in bars loaded with vivid imagery and internal rhyme “Modest and anonymous, I promise Krondon’ll honestly demolish y’all rappers…” Digging this street-certified head-nodder? As mentioned above, Krondon’s Let Em Live is available now in mixtape form, and those so Inclined will be able to pick up the project, complete with this bonus cut, on iTunes next Tuesday, May 25.
