Kwamie Liv - Comin Thru

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Baby Duka
Album:

Just shy of a month after Kwamie Liv won reader acclaim for the moody Follow You, fans may have started to wonder when the alt-R&B chanteuse would be Comin Thru with another fresh single. Well, how does today sound? On this freshly-released promo cut, the globe-trotting songstress trades the chill vibes of her previous features for a quirkier, more upbeat style. Over Baby Duka‘s airy synths, tweaked samples and hip hop-tinged percussion, Kwamie assures a man in her life, “I’mma come back for you.” Though this cut isn’t part of a larger project, the artist plans to release her debut set, Lost in the Girl, on August 13. In the meantime, watch our pages for the latest song releases off the forthcoming set.
