Mac Miller is Larry Fisherman - Doodling In The Key Of C Sharp

Producer:
Larry Fisherman
Album:
None (Promo Single)

At 6:26 AM on a recent morning, under the influence of copious quantities of Jameson, Mac Miller came to the sudden realization that he enjoyed playing the piano. How he managed to learn to play while remaining unaware that he was enjoying himself, I have no f**king idea. Anyway, the epiphany led him to create Doodling in the Key of C Sharp, a new single under his Larry Fisherman alias. Lyrically, the indie-rap phenom continues in the inebriated, introspective vein of These Dayz, lacing his low-key boardwork with raw, free-associative reflections on his place in the game. Contemplating the listener response to his recent experimentation, he spits, “It takes balls to go and break from the mold, I guess I did that / Still got some dumbass fans who want Kids back / And I forget they they’re 12 years old, I must accept that / Should probably stop thinkin’ so much and just rap.” This joint isn’t part of any larger project, but fans craving more left-of-center material from Mac Miller can still cop his November jazz debut (as Larry Lovestein), the You EP, for free in the Booth.
