Lil Boosie - Heart of a Lion

Touchdown 2 Cause Hell

Well, that sure didn’t take very long. This July, the recently un-incarcerated Lil Boosie, who will now officially go by the stage name Boosie Badazz, will release his sixth studio album, the first as a free man since 2009’s Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz. On Heart of a Lion, the first official single off the forthcoming full-length, the Baton Rouge native is his usual aggressive, tough-talking self, comparing his figurative moves to the great Muhammad Ali and admitting his biggest fear is “catching HIV.” Interesting choice considering his criminal past and, at times, uncertain future. Regardless, fans of the Southern rap veteran should be pleased upon picking up a copy of Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, the first of two LP releases in 2014, available for physical and digital purchase July 15.
