Underground legend Pimp C unexpectedly passed away yesterday, December 4th, of unknown causes.  The entire Hip Hop community will mourn this great loss, as his music was influential to so many underground and mainstream artists.  Impacted by his sudden passing, fellow Texan Lil’ Flip eulogizes his fallen brother on Pimp C Tribute.  Clover G’s artist D-Red makes a connection with the UGK classic One Day You’re Here, The Next You’re Gone on his verse, but Essay Potna‘s blues-sounding beat (sampling Neil Young‘s One Of These Days) is what helps set the mood for listeners and fans to pay their respects.  RIP Chad Butler (December 29, 1973 – December 4, 2007).
