Carter III: The Leak

Lil’ Wayne purchased us all a box of popcorn in late 2006 and for 11 straight months has been nothing short of Academy Award worthy.  On the biggest and brightest stage of his ten-year career, the New Orleans-born rapper has been as hot as Kobe Bryant against the Toronto Raptors.  While the world will have to wait until next February (or possibly later) for his highly-anticipated, Carter III, Universal Motown will release its precursor on December 18th.  Carter III: The Leak will contain the majority of album-intended material that magically leaked to the Internet during ’07; one of which is Showtime, featuring rappers Boo and Mack Maine.  Despite the fact that both guest artists embarrass themselves by joining Weezy on the song, each will benefit from the exposure.  Lights, camera, action… ya dig?
